Sammie

Sammie was found as a stray with matted hair and a little boy lost look. He was taken in by a good samaritan who was unable to locate his owner, so he came into our rescue. Sammie looks to be a miniature poodle/lhasa apso mix. He has obvious poodle hair but his long body and face give away another breed in the mix!  He is a creamy white color.

Sammie has been groomed to a beautiful boy, shots updated, microchip placed and vet checked.  He is already neutered and has nice clean teeth.  He weighs approximately 16lb and we think is about 2 years of age.

Sammie has obviously been accustomed to being a house dog.  He LOVES going for walks and car rides and of course getting lots of attention. He has a super personality and loves people. He is ok with other dogs, too. We're not sure about cats, though. Sammie has started some basic obedience and manners training and is learning fast.

If you are interested in Sammie, contact email info@sandiegopoodlerescue.org.  Homes with children over 12 years of age only.

Charley

Charley is a poodle or possibly a poodle/schnauzer mix looking for a new home.  He is very smart, sometimes stubborn and always ready for a walk or a cuddle.  He is only 5 or 6 years of age.

Charley was adopted from a shelter a few years ago.  Unfortunately his mom and dad have gone their seperate ways and feel Charley needs a new home able to give him the time and attention he deserves.

Charley lives with an opinionated cat - they love to play together and Charley lets the cat win.  He is not used to children, though, and would probably do best in a home with older or no kids.

Charley is neutered, his shots are up to date and he is licensed.  If you are interested in this darling boy, contact Tina at tkafka@mac.com

Ebony and Midnight

These are two beautiful silver standard poodles.  They are brother and sister, approximately 3-5 years of age.

Midnight, the boy, is friendly right off the bat while Ebony is a bit more aloof.  But, once she gets to know you she is fine.  These two have always been together and must be adopted together.

They have been spayed and neutered, are up to date on shots and microchipped.

Prior standard poodle experience a must.  Standards are very special dogs - high maintenance.  They need alot of people time, must get groomed monthly at anywhere from $60 on up to over $100 each time, each dog.  They need their home grooming by the owner and daily exercise.

If you feel you are the perfect home for these dogs, contact info@sandiegopoodlerescue.org.

Slinky

Hello! My name is Mr. SlinkyVonSlinkonstein… but you can call me Slinky!

I was having a bad day recently and decided to go for a long walk. I ended up getting a bit lost and was rescued by two random humans driving down the street. They were so good to me, I decided to hire them as my temporary agents.

But, I currently am in the market to adopt a human to take care of all my needs on a more permanent basis. I need someone who can keep up with my lifestyle, and loves to have fun! I am energetic, and get along with other dogs my size, but have not had any experience with large dogs or cats. I love all the human interaction I can get! However, I do have a few prerequisites if you plan on applying to be my caregiver… I like to eat… so plan on preparing my food daily! Also, I like toys. I am not picky, you can use your discretion on which toys to get me… but having toys in the house would definitely look good on your resume. Did I mention I like to eat?

Anyways, if you are interested in the position let me know, and I’ll be sure to give you an interview. My agents look forward to hearing from you! And now a word from my temporary agents…

“Slinky is a wonderful dog and will make an amazing pet. Currently, he has not been neutered, and will need to be before he is adopted, no exceptions. The adoption fee will be $150, and will be used to pay for Slinky’s neuter. Slinky has already had his first set of shots, and the vet said he is about 2 years old and is in great health. Slinky will not be an outside dog. For information on how to adopt Mr. SlinkyVonSlinkonstein email us at
melisa@yourmathtutor.com . Slinky is currently located in Lake Elsinore, CA.” – The Temps

Puffy

Puffy is a young  poodle boy looking for a new home.  His mom  had to go overseas and now, unfortunately will not be able to come home for a year or more.   He is currently staying with a friend, but looking for his new forever home.

Puffy is very cute, healthy, friendly, extremely intelligent, knows an impressive vocabulary, loves to play, has a moderate
energy level, and is a good eater. He's about ten pounds, 8 1/2 years old and is in excellent health.  His hair is very fine and soft as a cloud, hence the name. Puffy does not get along with other dogs very well--he guards his space and feels entitled to keep whatever he has just gotten (food, space, toys, attention) and is jealous/angry when another dog intrudes. He does not bite but would do best in a home with no other dogs.

Puffy learns quickly and already is well-trained and obedient. He knows sit ,down, up (on lap or on couch), shake (when wet), do good boy pee pees and poo poos, give kissies, stay, heel, no barking, people's names, get the birdie, get your bone and more. He was the top dog in obedience class (with his former owner). He loves to play hide and seek, and looks up into your eyes to decipher new words and intention.

Puffy would be a great pet for a family, single stay at home mom, elderly person or couple.... He has a microchip and some documentation. Puffy currently is located in Long Beach.  If interested, contact Jacqueline at jacquelineatbusiness@yahoo.com or 562-481-9149.
